hi, ive got ubuntu 8.10 on my IBM laptop but the screen is messed up. how an i change the settings to make my other monitor the main screen. thanks

You should be able to do that via the keys on your laptop. Look for a key with the image of a monitor on it, use that in conjunction with the Fn key to switch the display output. You might be able to change it permenantly in your bios.
