monitor offset


i use the same monitor through a kvm for my windows & fedora machines... on the windows one, it looks fine, but when it is on the fedora one, there is about an inch of black on the left, and half an inch on the bottom & a little bit on the other sides, how can i change this???

try tuning the display with xvidtune (run as root from a terminal). it will generate a Modeline that you can add to your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

i got mine working .. cant remember what i had to do .. but when it boots up it still has the problem. Its not until KDE starts that its fixed
