i recently installed fc1 dual booting with windows millennium
i get this msg

modeprobe:modeprobe:can't locate module block-major 0-135

is this normal as in ive missed something .

help is very appreciated as i am a newbie.

I think that's the real time clock .... what motherboard/chipset
have you got?

in fact, realtime clock is char-major-10-135.

if the file is really block-major-0-135, then i don't know, because, devices.txt in Documentation (in kernel source) says that devices with major number 0 are "unnamed devices (e.g. non-device mounts) 0=reserved as null device number"
