Modem Install I'm a step closer

Hi,
For the first time the ttyS15: no such device message is gone. Infact I think linux can find the modem now. But uart is undefined and the irq is supposed to be 9 instead of 2.

I used serserial /dev/ttyS15 uart 16550A and irq 9 to try and change those settings. the uart changed whilst the irq remained the same. After rebooting the my system the uart reverted bck to undefined. How do i make these changes and make them permanent ?

Thanx

irq2 -> irq9, it's a PC thing...
uart is usually autodetected if it's not defined but if you insist on setting it, put your setserial command in /etc/rc.d/rc.local and it will be run on boot.
