Modem Driver/autoconf.h problems
OK, I'm a complete Linux newbie (1 day). I am using Mandrake 9, and most of it works fine, but I can't get my modem to work. I emailed Tech-Support to ask if they had Linux Drivers (they replied in 20 minutes, excellent, and my modem is waaaay out of warrenty). I downloaded the drivers from the intel site (the driver was Intel-v92ham-451, by the way). I followed the instuctions in the readme (make clean, make ham, make install). Make clean works fine, but when I get to make ham, it says:
Module precompile check
Current running kernel is: 2.4.19-16mdk
/lib/modules... autoconf.h does not exist
please install kernel source
make: *** [check] Error 1
Yes, I checked and I do have the Kernel source, kernel source headers etc. installed, but I still get the sae message - does any have ANY ideas at all?
