Mnadrake 10.1 install prob (hdc: max request size 1024 KiB)


hey i just tried to intall mandrake 10.1 but i'm having problems booting up
my machine just seems to come up with a load of errors

Code:

any help or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

can you tell us a little more about what you are doing

what device is hdc
is it a CD or DVD drive
and if so what brand is it

a while ago Mandrake did have a problem with a particular brand of CD drive
but I forget the brand

give us some specs of the system you are trying to install on
mobo, processor, ram, vid card etc etc

where did you get your copy of Mandrake
did you buy it, burn it yourself

Processor Data Bus Speed 533MHz
15" TFT active matrix
512 ram
DVD writer

i'm not at home so i'll have to get the junk it churned out at a later date

my dvd writer is : PHILIPS DVD+RW SDVD6004, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive

and the problem i think i'm having is
