missing rpm during oracle 11g R2 installation

I am trying to install oracle 11g R2 on rhel 5.7.
I have installed rpms through oracle-validated.
after installation of oracle-validated packages,i have checked each rpm by doing rpm -qa.
while oracle 11g package checking every thing was successful except for unixODBC-2.2.11(i386) package, but when i checked that rpm ,it was already installed.
rpm -qa unixODBC
unixODBC-2.2.11-10.el5

I tried to updated the package but,its the latest package available on that mirror.
valid suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You're installing Oracle Unbreakable Linux, which is a commercial, pay for solution. Have you tried to contact Oracle support for this? The oracle-validated RPM package is comes from the Oracle Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN) which requires a support contract or from the Oracle public yum repository. There are installation notes for this, as well as how-to guides:

1. that's not installing OUL, that's installing Oracle DB on RHEL

2. Can you clarify the problem; unixODBC-2.2.11-10.el5 is fundamentally the same as unixODBC-2.2.11(i386) .
The 386 simply refers to the fact its 32 bit (are you running 32bit ?)
The '-10' is a patch by RH to ensure the unixODBC-2.2.11 works properly on their system.
