Missing repository on Redhat Linux

Hi, I'm currently stuck with a problem. I cannot use yum to update or find any packages and I believe it is because I am missing the redhat repository. I'm new to linux so I do not know exactly why this is happening, but here is some info:

Output of the command Yum Repolist All:

repo id repo name status
rhel-debuginfo Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5Server - i386 - Debug disabled
rhel-debuginfo-beta Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5Server Beta - i386 - Debug disabled
repolist: 0

On another machine I have a repolist called rhel-i386-server-5. Is there a way to manually add it back in?

Thanks in advance for the help.

You need to register the machine with Red Hat; give them a call and they will help you get set up. :)

The machine is registered with redhat though.

Yes of course, you can edit your repos in /etc/yum.repos.d but since you sound a little unsure how to do this, why not call Red Hat and take advantage of the support you've paid for? :)

It sounds like maybe you've inherited a broken system and you're trying to clean up someone else's mess? Apologies if I've jumped to wrong conclusions about your situation.

+1 Snowpine.....agree totally. If you're registered with RHN, you're paying for RedHat support. They'd be the first place I'd call with ANY problems.
