missing kppp in mandrake 9.1

hi! kppp seems to be missing in my mandrake 9.1 installation. I've searched for this on the net. The things I found were too technical. I can't follow what they're saying. Could you guide me through this step by step?

I've tried to install kdenetwork-kppp-3.1.94-1mdk.i586.rpm. I downloaded it from a website since it wasn't in the mandrake cds. The installation was fine. But I can't run it. It gave me something like 'unknown string...: aSjfIEkL'.
