missing header files on kubuntu 7.04
I just installed Kubuntu 7.04, and gcc doesn't find stdio.h. I cheched the include folder in usr, it's not there and the pacgage libc6-dev apparently doesn't exist. What do I do?

that is one of the most annoying things about ubuntu and debian and other debian based distros, you will have to hunt it down with synaptic, plus if you like to build lots of packages from source you will have to hunt down lots of dev packages that should have never been separated from the parent package to begin with, (thats why i prefer slackware)...

sorry, but I've never worked with linux before, could you explain in a little more detail how to do it?
