Missing /Documentation/DocBook/ subdirectories in Kernel 2.6.9-22.EL

Hi,

I'm working with a 2.6.9-22.EL kernel, under Redhat. To begin with, i've copied the kernel files over to my working directory, so that I can safely try to install drivers for a capture card. Before even doing anything with the drivers, though, I've tried issuing the command 'mrproper'. This is giving the error though

scripts/Makefile.clean:10: Documentation/DocBook/Makefile: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** No rule to make target 'Documentation/DocBook/Makefile'. Stop.
make: *** [_mrproper_Documentation/DocBook] Error 2

I've seen threads concerning this exact error, but their solutions have either not worked or in my case not made sense. One solution I've seen is that I need to install RPMs listed in the redhat directory. However, my redhat directory has only 5 empty subdirectories.

If anyone could aid me that'd be great.

Thanks,
Brad

Install and prepare the kernel source;

rpm -ivh kernel-2.6.9-22.EL.src.rpm
cd /usr/src/redhat/SPECS
rpmbuild -bp --target $(arch) kernel-2.6.spec (Notice; this is a required step)

Your kernels sources can be found in /usr/src/redhat/BUILD when done.

FYI: kernel-2.6.9-22.EL has been replaced by kernel-2.6.9-34.0.2.EL for many good reasons.
