Missing decoder for video
 
:newbie: :rolleyes:What can I do to get my system running for videos
where can I download a Videoplayer includs many codecs (DivX Mplayer Real Time ) I donīt care what it is I just want to see my movies:rolleyes: so please someone helps me :confused:

My running system is SUSE Linux Enterprise 10

Check YAST (or SMART... or Synaptic... what ever the package manager is now) if you have the gstreamer-plugins (base/good/bad/ugly) available.
I think the enterprise distribution has them packaged, you might need to activate an additional repository though.
After you've installed them you should be able to play pretty much anything. Some Real-Media streams are tricky and require the real-media player. It might be available through the package manager - alternatively you can download the linux version from their homepage.

GStreamer is installed but I canīt find a way to check it works or not still no movies
