Question missing basesystem package?!?!?


im tryin to install mandrake but when chooseing packages in the text install it says error missing basesystem package and restarts the install

That must be an older version of mandrake because I don't think the new one does that anymore. I had that before too. Mandrake allows you to select packages on install but there are several packages which belong to the basesystem. You have to make sure you have those selected otherwise it won't let you continue on the install.
