How do I disable the screensaver in mint?

Welcome. Are you running the latest version of Linux Mint? What Desktop Environment are you running? MATE, Cinnamon, KDE ?? In MATE, you can look for "System Settings" and look in "Brightness & Lock".

Menu > All Appications > Preferences > Screensaver.

Set the idle time to 2 hours and untick the 2 boxes.
