Mint KDE update manager icon too small

Hi guys. Thanks for looking

I'm setting up Linux Mint 13 KDE for my mother and the Update Manager icon is too small for her to see - it doesn't scale with all the other icons when you change the height of the panel. Is there some way I can make it bigger?

Drag and drop the update manager to the desktop

Thanks for the reply!

I dragged update manager from the App Launcher onto the desktop (as well as the panel), but although the icon is larger it doesn't display any information (the green checkmark or the blue sheild).

I'm starting to think that this is KDE specific because I installed Mate in a VM and the icon is scaleable. /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintUpdate/icons/ is the same on both KDE and Mint.

Well I use the Gnome version the green checkmark and the blue shield is shown on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen
And moving the update manager and Synapthic package manager to the desktop and large it and beside that it give every info .
Even more all my often use app are on the desktop

Thanks, but KDE lacks that feature. It seems the icon size in the system tray is fixed at 24x24 for backwards compatibility reasons
