Mint 7 - Installing NVIDIA drivers

Hi

I need some help to install NVIDIA driver in Mint 7.

I already tried to double click the package and it seems nothing happened.

I already tried to type "sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.18.14-pkg1.run" to install the driver and it said I need to have root access.

I already tried to type "sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.18.14-pkg1.run" to install the driver and it give me another error message.

Maybe I'm missed something.

Any idea?

Note: I don't have internet connection at home so I prefer to download the driver somewhere else and install it manually.

Yes... you have forgotten to tell us that last error message.

I'd guess that you do not have the kernel headers installed.

However: doesn't mint have that driver as a package in the repos these days?
menu > system tools > hardware drivers
system > administration > hardware drivers

... someplace like that?
