Mini2440 ARM9 w/3.5" Touch Screen

Hello and thank you for providing a place for bone heads like myself to get the facts.

I am looking into purchasing a FriendlyArm Mini2440 Arm9 Board with included 3.5" touch screen monitor.

I am told the distro I need is linux-2.6.32.2-mini2440_20100113.tgz from the FriendlyArm website. This distro is supposed to have support for the GPIO on the board.

The Mini2440 has 64MB Ram and a 400Mhz CPU. I wonder if it is enough horsepower for my seemingly simple needs.

I wish to use the Mini2440's GPIO and create a simple user interface using html and and perl through a cgi enabled web server and browser. The simultaneous connections would be limited to the local console and 1 network connection for remote control. The app would only be for monitoring and controlling the integrated GPIO and accessing an external ADC through USB.

Is the hardware up to the task, is there a web server package that supports cgi-bin and perl that is small and will run 2 connections on 64MB?

Any suggestions or Bozo your a Bozo comments greatly appreciated

Thanks :)
