Migrating from Unix to Linux

I'm an old SCO Unix user whose migrating to Red Hat Linux Enterprise. I'm trying to find out where commands are stored that are executed when a user logs in. In SCO it is in the .profile file in the user's home directory but I can't find it in Linux. I'm logging in in text mode, not GUI.
