Microphone not capturing, however I can hear it via "playback"

Not sure how to explain.

In 'alsamixer' I have my "Front Mic" not muted, and I can hear it my voice.
I also set up the "Capture" setting on alsamixer, so it goes to the correct input source, and captures it.

However, on vocaroo, it can not record my voice. But I can hear my voice through my mic.

Did you look at the "vocaroo" FAQ pages? They have several suggestion that might help. (E.g., "Check your settings," with instructions of how to do that.)
