Method for transporting all posts from one hosted forum to another

Hello,
Does anyone know of any such program that can transfer my hosted comm100 forum to a new forum I am buying that is vbulletin to give me full control of the domain?
I have looked at cnet etc but has anyone ever transfered forums or websites to new ones?
Like automatically because it would take me years to do it manually.
Thanks if anyone knows of such a program even if it is expensive.
I have looked but cannot find one but firms often change their sites so it must be possible????

What kind of database are you using? It should be possible to export the database from one database and import them into another. I have moved my WordPress database several times as I've changed hosts, but that's a straightforward export/import with MySQL, as the table structure was the same.

How complicated this would be would depend on how the table structure of the new database differs from or is similar to the old one.

Please provide more information about the existing database and the new one and I'm certain someone here will be able to point you in the right direction.
