Metadata file does not match checksum error


i have a problem with yum, im trying to install quanta using yum but it keeps sayinh " failed:Metadata file does not match checksum" whats up with this?

Might be a problem with a repo, I don't know. If your Yum is up to date, and if you don't use plugins like yum-fastestmirror, and if you configured a repo address, maybe clean out your local caches and try again or choose another one? If nothing does the trick then maybe posting error messages could help.
