Messenger for red hat 9


Hi this is my first time in Linux. I choose Red Hat 9. Does Linux has a messenger? How do i get it ?

If you mean MSN Messenger, I suggest amsn (you can find it on sourceforge.net - search for amsn). Otherwise, either gaim, like salparadise suggested, or kopete (these are multi-protocol instant messengers).
