Exclamation menu.lst is missing in Debian i386 6.0 Version


hi
i have installed Debian i386 6.0 version in my PC
After the Installation of Debian
in the Grub Boot Loader iam unable to see Windows Partition
in the Boot Loader But Windows XP has been Already Installed in
System before Debian OS

So anybody can give the Solution to this Question

Debian 6.0/Squeeze uses Grub2, this version doesn't have a menu.lst. That your Windows isn't seen by Grub2 after installation is a common problem that can easily be solved.
Open a root-terminal (can be found under Applications->Accessories) and launch the command
Code:
update-grub
It will search for installed operating systems. Sometimes it is needed to run this program more than once to find all systems.
