I should do the terminal transperent and took away the scrollbars and the menu line, but now i cant come in and change the preferences for the transperecy and colors and so on, is there anyway to get it back or is there some other way to get to the properties for the profiles in the terminal?

Go to: ~/.gconf/apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default
open the file "%gconf.xml" using gedit
Change the line which has "show menu bar" to true
save the file, log out, and log in again.
