Memory free

Hi ..
I have issued free -m command, got the below results showing free memory is low. Is it correct ..?
Can anyone please explain it clearly..?

[orauat@devtest ~]$ free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 15598 15526 71 0 58 11214
-/+ buffers/cache: 4253 11344
Swap: 8001 253 7747

Thanks in advance

Personally I prefer looking at 'top', but you may like to read this http://www.linuxatemyram.com/
BTW, please use code tags when posting that sort of stuff https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...do=bbcode#code

So understated!

That link is the answer to shubhamuddu's question, so the shubhamuddu should read and believe the info there.

"you may like to" is probably just politeness, but to me it adds uncertainty to an otherwise correct answer.
