MBR Lilo install failure (with hdc1)

I'm installing Linux(again) after breaking it messing

with the config files(yes I'm a noob). I'm using k

knoppix 3.3 and whenever I run knoppix-installer or knx-

hdinstall it gives me an error saying that it doesn't

my hrd drive set as hdc1. How do I change my

drive designation or install Lilo differently?

You should use a distribution, which normally installs directly to harddisk.

How to boot up from hdc1? Don't write lilo to mbr. Just leave minimum system files. bxxxr Linux - General 2 08-28-2003 05:22 AM
