Mbox to Mbx conversion

I need to convert all my messages from Mbox format type (KDE Mail) to Mbx format type (Mozilla mail). I cannot find any tool for this.

Could you help me ?

Thanks
Paolo

mozilla mail is just using an ascii text file for it's Inbox. u can just copy your KDE mailbox file to your ~/.mozilla/default/yadayada.yada/Mail/mail.some.thing/Inbox.

before u do that, back up your Kmail mbox file, just in case.

~/.mozilla/default/yadayada.yada/Mail/mail.some.thing/Inbox is a file - not a directory. not sure how to go about this one but try:

- copying all your Kmail messages to your kmail Inbox (so you'll have only one file to deal with).

then append it toyour mozilla mail inbox:

cat ~/.kmail.something/Inbox >> ~/.mozilla/default/yadayada.yada/Mail/mail.some.thing/Inbox

The cat command doesn't show any error, but no changes seem take place on the Inbox from Mozilla. Are you sure about the syntax ? Is there any space before and after ">>" ?

Thanks for the instruction. I feel close to the solution !
Let me know
Paolo

cat[space]~/.kmail.something/Inbox[space]>>[space]~/.mozilla/default/yadayada.yada/Mail/mail.some.thing/Inbox

have u tried viewing Kmail's and Mozilla's Inbox files if they contain anything?
