Providing alternative solutions is not "shitting on" anybody's effort. Open almost any thread here, in each one you'll find a question and upwards of 5 different solutions provided by various members. Some solutions are faster, some are slower, some are very complicated, some aren't. Your answer has the advantage of working on files in subdirectories, mine doesn't, but mine is also easier to understand and remember. Variety is the spice of life
