Map network for shared folders.

How can I check my network for shared folders? For example when I do net view under dos (windows) I can see what folders are shared.

How can that be done with Linux (redhat 9)?

Then how can I map that drive, can that drive be mapped every time I login or I will have to map it manually.

Thanks.

there are plenty of GUI's out there, but to see samba shares, "smbclient -N -L localhost" will list them, and for NFS, use "exportfs"

Can you give me some links of any of those software’s.

Although I would rather doing it from my terminal.

And when I run the command smbclient -N -L localhost... it says smbclient: command not found.
