Many way to name a drive


When I try to start vmlinuz form fat : loadlin vmlinuz root=/dev/hdb3
It do not see the hdb3 which is presend when i rum fdisk from frcue rescue fd ?????

Do you know other way to name hkb3 ?

We need more information about the setup of your system. Please show the contents of these files:
/etc/fstab
/boot/grub/menu.lst (or grub.conf if that is what Mandirva uses).
