MANDRIVA one
 

hello fellows i know its been long since i visited here...
but am a college goer and have my own problems and tension and due to ack of time .... cant keep in touch sorry !!!
now i have newly installed mandriva one.... which uses kde 3.5 ..
looks great...and works very much fine
but i need to know how do i understand LINUX.. its commands.... is there any book which is available...or any tutorial ???
wat i really mean is that how do i get to learn the konsole/terminal...
understand wat the errors.??? do i need to start learning kernel,shells ??

in your help files kde help there is the unix section. those are your unix comands.at any used book store for couple dollars linux books are everywhere. also at any library for free. all the linux books have the unix comands in them.
if the unix commands are not there you need to install them from your disk. it is under documents.

Please use better thread titles in future, i.e. ones that describe your question/problem.

That should get you started but it's a pretty vast subject that you only start to master with continued use. Just jump in and start exploring; the more you use the command line the more you learn and retain.
