Mandriva linux video driver help

i have a mandriva linux distro and i need help with configuring my video driver. When ever i try running a opengl program (e.g, xmoto,ppracer,etc) I get this error:
fatal exception : SDL_SetVideoMode : Couldn't find matching GLX visual
Can someone help me? thank you!

Hi, are you running the default installed graphics option, if so which one.

The reference to open gl and sdl leads me to think of checking the sdl
libraries are installed and mesa libs too.

If they don't improve the performance of the game, then you might be
looking at choosing your graphics set up again.

With urpmi or your favourite package manager (smart) search for those terms, opengl, glx, sdl, etc.
