Mandriva Installation only works with -noauto
Okay I have a problem....
I got 2 comps, one which is using an IDE HD and another using SATA HD. The IDE comp is OLD OLD OLD The SATA comp is very very new Mandriva 10.2 2005 LE stalls nearly immediatly on the SATA system. It opens up, gives me my choice to press enter to continue but from there she locks up, I cannot alt+F# anywhere to view anything... Unless I am suppose to wait a SUPER long time.. On my old IDE comp, so far it seems to be booting fine. Does Mandriva not support SATA drives, could that be my problem? |
A little update.
Okay, I got it to boot fine on my SATA comp by letting it boot like this: linux noauto in otherwords it doesn't auto detect anymore from that point... Which results in my wireless usb keyboard and mouse stopping to work just as the installation starts.... |
Thanks for the tip.
