Unhappy Mandriva Install Error....plz Help


right after the partitioning phaze of the 2006 free iso cd i receive the following error: INVALID HDLIST DESCRIPTION "mdk.i586" IN HDLISTS FILE ,
which loops me back to repartition and finally reboot...
and this goes on forever...
i m new to linux plz someone help coz i really want to get started and learn as much as i can about LINUX.
THX in advance!!!

Where did you get the CD's from? If you burned them yourself, did you check the md5sums before you burned the CD's ?
