Installed mandriva. Pretty much all default settings. I have 3 hdds and I installed it to my 3rd so sdc7, and 80gb ext3 partition.

I said I wanted to install the boot loader to my first hard drive. Ive installed other linux distros and always let grub take over my boot loader.

Everything installed seemingly perfectly but when I reboot and grub1.5 starts, it just gives me error 22.

I ran the Mandriva rescue and did a repair on the boot loader, but it did not fix the problem.

I even created a Mandrive 2009 boot cd and went in and edited the boot loader. Everything looked right from what I saw. I did not see any grub fix options in Mandriva like Ive seen in SUSE.

Anyone know a way to fix my grub loader to actually point to my operating systems and boot stuff?

Grub Error 22 is no such partition. I would suggest you load your install CD and open a terminal/konsole window and run the command: fdisk -l as root user to get partition information to post here. If you're using Mandriva's Grub bootloader, post the contents of the /boot/grub/menu.lst file.

What other operating systems do you have? Which drive is set to boot first?
