Mandrake10/CrossXoffice/paltalk


Ok here we go...............I have mandrake 10 installed running fine.I have Cross office standard
running fine.Now is where it gets bumpy I have paltalk up and running I have voice, sound,cams It is stable but what I don't have is text I can send a PM to somebody and see it being type in the send window but when I hit send POOF it is gone.I have pulled all windowsXP drivers/fonts.and dumped them into my fake DIR.I have gone to franks site and did all that was there.ANd yes I'm a newbie.Please help I have seen other threads like this but they end with no help.

Crossoffice doesn't support every windows program. Paltalk is not listed as a supported program for crossoffice; however, chech the crossoffice site and see their software support page.

In short, there is nothing *you* can do to get paltalk running on linux like it is runs on windows for now at least.

not true download this autopackage right click on it and make it an executable and close it then double click the package and you have paltalk plug in for gaim
