Mandrake Update

I go to the mandrake control panel and try to run the update utility but comes up basically that all the mirrors are no good or mandrake isn't supporting 9.1 yet or no longer does.What is the deal with this.I tried adding one of the mirrors to the source manager to get updats from.When I click ok after putting in the info the place i put it in goes off and left wih the first box where you click to save well it goes so I can't save it as a source.Does this mandrake update work or what is the deal with it

well, it *should* work. First go into software source manager and remove update sources if it's there. Then go back to software management and start again. If this doesn't work, go to http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/urpmiweb.php
and setup update sources according to the instructions there.

You can also use the command line to see if it's a problem with the graphical interface. After setting up the update source do (as root):
urpmi --update --auto-select
