i'm having problems with downloading rpm's for mandrake 9
everything i seem to download refuses to install due either to "missing GPG signature" or "bad signatures".
I didn't have this problem with RedHat.
I've tried going for source files with slightly better results, but I still end up with either strange error messages or apparent clean installs followed by software that is "not locateable or useable"
have been downloading thus:
from within galeon, right click/save link as
then click on rpm in browser which in turn calls up the install dialogue
sometimes, when going for *.src.rpm's i use the rpmbuild ---rebuild from the command line
