Mandrake- Keyboard
I´ve recently installed mandrake 9.1 and I´m having problems with my keyboard. (I in australia so I chose US International -there being no australian. )
The problem is when I want to type an apostrophe or a quotation mark, I have to press the key twice. I have changed my keyboard choice to US and UK. US makes no difference and UK works in Openoffice but gives me an @ instead of a quotation mark - I think that is correct for a UK keyboard- in other programs it makes no difference. I know this is a tiny problem but I write a lot and its really getting to me. If anyone could help, I would be immensely grateful. Thanks :newbie: |
Hey azzabazza.
Take a look at this thread. I bet it'll help. The punchline is "change US international to just US". You can access keyboard from the KDE control centre (accessibility --> keyboard layout). Good luck! |
Thanks
Thanks for that. I thought I had changed them, but I obviously hadn't. Thanks for your help and patience.
