Mandrake Drivers for Ati X800 Graphic Card

Hello,

I have a new computer, and I have a Ati X800pro. I have installed Mandrake, but when i start it, it isn't in graphic mode, it in text mod, do you know how to put the x800 driversfor mandrake 10.0. thanks for everyone, and if you know by the way drivers for mandrake in 64bit edition tell me because i have looked on the net, but that would be nice of you if you can tell me i you have drivers for normal -32bit- edition mandrake 10.0 or to tell me what to do to have graphic mode.

Thanks again
Hugo

Is there a chance you could return it and get a Nvidia 6800? I'm not trying to be rude, but you are going to have a problem finding the drivers to get that video card to work under Linux. Nvidia's Linux support is much better than ATI's and I know that they were even a little slow coming out with the drivers for their cards and the 2.6 kernel. If you don't believe me just look at all the questions on this mailing list about how to get ATI cards to work under Linux, and those cards are older than yours. I hope I'm not bringing you down, but a Nvidia card would be alot easier to get setup and you would be happier with it in the end.
