Mandrake 9
 

i got mandrake 9 3 disc, i installed linux but i just use 2 disc
why do i need the third disc?


note:
i cant run x window cos linux dont recognize my Nvidia gforce4

The third disk has server and other applications that you didn't select to install. Keep it handy, you may want it. For the other, I assume you get to the console prompt? No graphics. If you do, log in as root, and run

If you have a high speed connection, you might want to try Mandrake 9.2. It is newer and has more up to date software and features. If you have a Dell (LG CD-R drive, upgrade it's firmware first)
