Mandrake 9.1 won't install
Hi guys, How are we?? I'm tring to have a dual boot with Redhat 8 and Mandrake 9.1 but Mandrake won't install. When i start Mandrake then i hit Enter and then i think it's Alt+F4 for kernel msg. There is a black screen with white writing. It would take me probably all night to write everything down and it would use up all my paper. I wrote down the last line of what it said.
<4> EXT2-fs warning: checktime, running e2fsck is recommended What does that line mean?? It does nothing. I don't know it froze or what. Can someone who had installed Mandrake would help me?? Please reply back. Thanks guys. |
Derek - Are you trying to install Mandrake 9.1 from CD or what? Does the install ever show you anything if you start a default installation and don't hit Alt+F4? How long after you start the default installation process does your computer think before it you know you're stuck with a blank screen? How long have you been running RedHat?
