Thumbs up Mandrake 9.1 install hangs at reboot

I had REDHAT 7.1 on this machine but was overwhelmed trying to learn it so decided to try Mandrake 9.1
The install runs like a champ but hangs at reboot every time.

NEVERMIND

FOUND OUT THE ISO AND BURNED IMAGE WERE BAD. GOT A DIFFERENT FRIEND TO DOWNLOAD THE ISO, THEN I BURNED THE IMAGE. SO FAR IT IS WORKING GREAT.

Thanks for the help

I can hit the reset button and reboot but it seems to have major problems because it was not shut down properly. I do end up with a login panel but that takes me to a screen with just a clock and a left click menu that only lets me exit back to the same login panel (No other GUI's are available). I can get to a command prompt with CNTRL+Backspace but don't know what to from there. I also have no idea how to go about forcing my way out of the install.

This may be really dumb, but that CNTRL+Backspace, does it look like this? C:\ > Do you have a dos floppy in your floppy drive? Maybe a Winders 98 boot disk or something?

Try removing all the media, except the Zip disk if you have one. For some reason, when I used Mandrake 9.2, it absolutely refused to boot if the zip was empty.

Is that a bug or a feature?

Like I said, probably really dumb question. I hope it helps.
