Mandrake 9.1 CDROM problem

I don't think my CDROM drive is supported by Mandrake Linux. I checked their website and i looked around and i couldn't find anything to help me out much. does that mean that i can't install Mandrake?

AFAIK, all IDE drives are supported by Linux.

Sorry, i'm new

Ok, so i can use it, so how do i install it? i downloaded the 3 images from a mirror and burned them to CD's. now what? i thought that i just restart my computer, but when i do that, it just boots into Windows.

You should have downloaded 3 ISO or CD image files and the md5sum should check OK. Burn these to cd as images. :study: I hope your burning software has help files you can read.

Otherwise, you will have to name your burning software and wait until someone that uses that software.

Carefully reading the instructions on the home page/faq/etc should help as well. Check the links I posted for Mandrake.
