Mandrake 9.1 'wake-up' problems

Hi,

I installed Mandrake 9.1 a few days ago and am so impressed by it that I'll be switching from XP permanently.

However, there's one problem I'm experiencing. After leaving the computer logged out over night, when I come back and move the mouse or hit the keyboard the pc doesn't 'wake up' , so I have to do a cold reboot.

Anyone know why? My first guess was it had something to do with the APM settings, but didn't know how to check/modify them.

Anyway, any help's appreciated.

someone's gotta know something! :D

Recently I've been using 'lock screen' or just leaving the pc unattended for a while, and this problem occurs there as well. So I guess it has something to do with a power management feature, although, one time it didnt respond my screensaver was running.

The weird thing is that I can't reproduce it! It happens about 1/5 times I leave the pc unattended for at least an hour, which is way too much!!
