I just download madrake beta release and I copy the file to 3 cds.
I want to know how can I make disk1 bootable so I can install it. I am curently using windows xp and my burn software is nero.
I have vmware install and it cannot read disk1 because it is not bootable.
did u burn it as a file or as an actual iso ?...did you download iso or all the packages...i haven't seen if mdk 9.0b has iso images or packages, but if your using nero and its an iso there should be an option to burn as ISO...if packages just burn as data, but for data i don't know how to make it bootabable, but it should be anyways.....
I'd like to do this also, but have never done so. I assume you would make the first cd (the installation disk) an ISO, and thus bootable? And the 2 others would be burnt as data, since they will be the ones the install process will ask for after the install 1 cd is already booted? Could some expert please tell us if this is correct?
