Mandrake 8.2 and /dev/dsp

Hi there!
Does anybody know what program changes the permissions of /dev/dsp0?
I mean, after I logon, I become the owner of the /dev/dsp0 (and /dev/mixer0 ...), and the permisions are set to 600. If then anybody else logs on, they can't use the soundcard.
I could use 'su' , and then change the permisions to 666 - this is plain evil - , but I want something more permanent.

Isn't such information being logged (in /var/log)?

No, it's not.
Anyway from what I discovered so far is something related to devfsd, and is something in /etc/security/
I've made it work but not quite as good as I hoped.
