you have to download and install the ati drivers, even they are only for kernel 2.4 they work with no
problems on my mandrake 10 system. I just followed the Steps explained in the README
Basic steps:
1. get fglrx rpm from
www.ati.com
2. install kernel source (rpmdrake)
3. run rpm -ivh --force drivers.rpm
4. run fglrxconfig and answer questions
5. restart your X System by ctrl-alt-backshift or reboot
6. run glxinfo and glxgears to test opengl
worked flawlessly on my mandrake 10
