mandrake 10 install problems (cd4 part)
 

Hello :)

I'm trying to install mandrake 10 (community) on my pc
AMD athlon xp 2400+
512mb ram
geforce ti 4800 SE
Nforce2 pro

and i'm at the part where it ask for cd4 i read that i could just press cancel, but when i do that my pc crashes?! i tried to install it 3 times now.

is there anyone that has a solution for me:Pengy:

Could you be a bit more specific, as in what actually happens when it crashes? Do you see any errors or does it just reboot?
Something you may try is to just install the minimal system (it shouldn't ask for the 4th disk). This will tell you that there's probably something wrong with your 4th disk, plus you have the system up and running, then you need only install the rest of what you want using the urpmi.

well my cd-rom opens and it ask to insert cd4 and then when i press cancel the mouse won't move and there's a gray window where the popup with insert cd4 was

i'll try the solution you gave me now :)
