Making startup faster with Knoppix 3.4

Hi there,

I've installed Knoppix 3.4 in my hardisk, but it really takes its time to run. I think that it is due to the many services/daemons it runs when starting up. Could anyone give me some ideas about what (and how) daemons should I disable?

Thank you in advance...

I think that problem can be in that You have dhpc enabled on some of Your dhcp interfaces and there is no dhcp server in your network... It is the most common case of slow booting. Try to turn of dhcp in Your configuration.
